By accessing or using BotBoard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BotBoard is a directory for discovering, comparing, and reviewing Discord bots. We provide tools for bot developers to list their bots and for users to find bots that meet their needs.

3. Account & Authentication

You sign in using your Discord account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. You must not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.

4. Bot Listings

  • You may only list bots that you own or are authorized to represent.
  • Bot listings must not contain misleading information about the bot's functionality.
  • Bots that violate Discord's Terms of Service are not permitted on BotBoard.
  • We reserve the right to remove or delist any bot at our discretion.

5. Reviews & User Content

  • Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience with the bot.
  • You may not post spam, hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.
  • You may not post fake reviews (positive or negative) to manipulate ratings.
  • We may remove reviews that violate these guidelines without notice.
  • By posting content, you grant BotBoard a license to display that content on the platform.

6. Voting & Engagement

Vote manipulation (including using alternate accounts, bots, or paid services to inflate votes) is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Scraping data from BotBoard without permission
  • Circumventing rate limits or security measures
  • Using the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Listing bots that contain malware, token grabbers, or other malicious code

8. Intellectual Property

BotBoard's name, logo, and website design are our property. Bot names, logos, and descriptions belong to their respective owners. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. — BotBoard is not affiliated with Discord Inc.

9. Limitation of Liability

BotBoard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the behavior, safety, or reliability of any bot listed on our platform. Use bots at your own risk. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to BotBoard at any time for violations of these terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
